Eric Conrad is a Graduate Assistant and doctoral student in Health Education and Health Promotion at the University of Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from California State University, Stanislaus and a Master of Arts in Health Studies from the University of Alabama. Eric is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) with research interests addressing school health education, school health education teacher preparation, health technology, and community engagement scholarship.

Andrew Piazza is a Graduate Assistant and doctoral student in Health Education and Health Promotion at the University of Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Health Education from the University of Florida. Andrew is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with five years of clinical experience in the physical therapy setting. His research interests include physical activity for the prevention and management of chronic disease, health technology, and maintenance of home exercise programs in the physical therapy setting.

Dr. Jen Nickelson is a Registered Dietitian and earned her PhD in Public Health with an emphasis in public health education and social marketing from the University of South Florida, College of Public Health. Dr. Nickelson is currently developing a social marketing intervention to help prevent parents from giving their infants and toddlers sweetened beverages. Her research interests include the study of nutrition in the prevention and treatment of chronic disease, obesity prevention, and the application of community-based social marketing. She has co-authored papers that have appeared in journals such as the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, Health Education Research, American Journal of Health Education, and Preventing Chronic Disease.
